As a Beneficiary of the Mary Esther Fraser Intervivos Trust, or MEFIT, I have had the honor to work with distant and close family members for years now. MEFIT had my heart from the moment I stood on our land. As the newest Trustee, July 2020, I have also done my very best to continue to position the Trust in ways that focus solely on the preservation of our inheritance and legacy.

Rich in history, the Hedding family has a presence in the valley that spans generations. There's no shortage of memories and history among our living heirs and many of their friends and family fortunate enough to have skied on the ski hill, camped at the Parker Place, lodged at the Ranch and splashed around in the river. Some of my most favorite stories come from those who have known our family. Mike McCroskey, of Entiat Valley Electric has regaled me with stories of Charles Jr and running the tow rope as well as clearing out the cistern. Not to mention the visual account of the Hedding children carrying bags of cement up the mountain to connect the natural spring to the cistern.

The point is we are beyond fortunate to have a place we can walk where our ancestors walked and share their journey as we recreate and expand beyond their vision and dreams with our own. Sharing this land with others in order to sustain it and strive toward the goals we have as a family has proven to be equally valuable and rewarding.

I look forward to our future and continuing to move forward with memories of our own for many generations to come. Welcome to the Tyee Ranch website, a hub for family and friends to connect and work together.
